Ariana Grande has dealt with a lot over the past few months. First coping and mourning the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, where the stress lead to the break up with her fiance Pete Davidson. On Saturday (Nov. 3), the pint-sized diva took to Twitter to announce her upcoming fifth studio album will be titled Thank U, Next. The title is a saying Grande and her friend/singer Victoria Monét would say. The news comes after teasing new music in recent weeks, and TMZ reported earlier in the day that Ariana planned to drop a new single, named after her new album.
The record comes right before the start of this weekend’s Saturday Night Live episode. Not a coincidence, the move was made after reports had Grande’s ex-fiancé doing a skit on the new episode where he jokes about their past relationship. The skit was allegedly cut, but Grande’s new record does reference both Davidson and Mac Miller.
